Ongar Badminton Club in Essex was formed in 1951 and continues to grow from strength to strength, providing a competitive, friendly and affordable weekly evening meeting for players of club standard.
Ongar Badminton Club is a senior club and we encourage new members (not beginners) when places allow. Any player interested in joining the club should first contact us using the link above.
Ongar Badminton Club meets every Tuesday evening for club sessions and we also play competitive matches within the Brentwood & District League.
Every year our club stages it’s own tournament for singles, even doubles, mixed doubles and mixed handicap doubles. We also hold social events to support the club that include quiz nights and barn dances.
Where we play
Our Club plays at Ongar Leisure Centre, The Gables, Ongar, Essex. CM5 0GA
Club night is Tuesday evening 7pm - 9pm
